Tavish's Statement on Emergency Landing at Sumburgh


Tavish Scott has contacted Loganair regarding the emergency landing on Wednesday evening by a Loganair flight from Aberdeen. Flight BE6780 had 49 passengers on board and was forced to land on one engine, declaring a full emergency at Sumburgh.

Tavish Scott said:

''To those in touch about Loganair's emergency landing at Sumburgh last night, I have contacted the company this morning. I appreciate how worrying any air incident is and I have stressed the importance of ensuring accurate information is available for everyone who has to fly. Obviously we all a safe, reliable service without incidents. In fairness, Loganair do as well.''
