Wednesday 26 Sept. at the Shell Step Regional Final (Scotland & Northern Ireland) in Edinburgh.
The local Shetland Shell Step programme is co-ordinated by Careers Scotland and supported
by SIC's Economic Development Unit. Shetland student Emily Garrick has won a place to
compete in the Shell Step business awards UK final in London next month. She did a two
months placement at Shetland Seafood Auctions.

During their recent school trip to Edinburgh, primary 6/7 pupils from Hamnavoe Primary School visited the Scottish Parliament. MSP Tavish Scott gave the pupils a conducted tour of the building. This enabled the children to visit areas not open to the public. The class posed for a photograph with Mr Scott in the Members' Garden.
